Weekly training sessions for school aged athletes currently attracts around 50-70 young athletes.
For children under 9 years of age who are keen to try Athletics, we offer Run, Jump, Throw sessions as part of our Junior Programme. These sessions currently run on a Thursday night. Our P1-3 group runs from 6:00-7:00pm and P4+ from 7:00 -8:30pm. In the final term P3 pupils are invited to attend the P4+ sessions.
During the summer months (Apr-Jul)older children (P4+ attend training at Liniclate Track from 6:00-7:30pm.
From October – March, Cross Country/Endurance training takes place at Liniclate Track & Machair on Saturday mornings 10:30-11:30am. These sessions are free and open to everyone.
